Tinto Technology Contract Support

Tinto Technology provides cost effective remote and on-site support for clients throughout Scotland.

We offer secure remote management facilities using either a cloud based solution or for even more security our own hosted software.  This facility that allow us to undertake routine maintenance without having to travel to your site.

We also offer a facility to remote desktop to your user workstations or laptops, allowing us to diagnose any user hardware or software issues quickly and with the minimum of fuss.

When a job is completed and signed off, Tinto Technology provide a free on-site support package for up to 14 days for commercial clients.  This allows our customers to have the confidence that the system will perform as required and to iron out any unexpected issues.

All hardware provided is brand new, except where this is not possible, for example on legacy systems.  In such cases, the customer is always asked to approve the use of refurbished parts before they are deployed.

All software delivered as part of a package is fully licenced to our client.  For a fee, Tinto Technology can provide central management of any annually occurring licences if required, meaning you can be confident that your licences and subscriptions will not expire.

Where a client requires support beyond our baseline resource, we may subcontract support.  This will always be discussed with the client in advance.

Our support packages are designed to give maximum protection within a cost effective price.  We operate several packages including:

  • Fixed fee subscription.
  • Simple and straightforward.  For a fixed monthly or annual fee, we can provide site visits and remote support sessions to suit.  We offer a range of fixed fees to enable clients to purchase higher levels of support (e.g. same day/next day etc).  These packages work well for clients who have an need for ongoing support and maintenance and who want to have the security of knowing in advance what the costs will be.  Fees are fixed for 12 months regardless of number of incidents.

  • Flexible fee subscription.
  • In this model, a monthly fee is agreed to secure a limited number of callouts and remote support sessions (jobs) at discounted rates.  The monthly fee, and hence the number of discounted jobs available, can be adjusted to suit the level of support required.  This type of package works well for clients who desire the ability to manage costs as their needs change.  It is cost effective for clients who are able to manage their support requirement.  Costs rise if the number of incidents increase above the support job limit.

  • Budget draw down.
  • Callouts and support jobs are drawn down against an agreed monthly budget.  Billing is per support job.  If the budget is exceeded our standard rates are charged.  This package offers value for money to clients who consider their need for support to be sporadic.
